Strategic Dialogue in Bangkok: Strengthening Pepper Cooperation
On Monday, 23 February 2026, the Executive Director of the International Pepper Community (IPC), Ms. Marina Novira Anggraini, was received at the Embassy of the Republic of Indonesia in Bangkok for a strategic discussion with the Deputy Ambassador of Indonesia to Thailand, Mr. Fuad Adriansyah.
With Indonesia currently serving as IPC Chair for 2026, the meeting focused on the ongoing transformation of the global pepper sector and the Secretariat's modernization agenda. The exchange also explored constructive pathways toward Thailand's return to full IPC membership, alongside the Embassy's role in facilitating agricultural and trade cooperation.
The discussion was attended by the Indonesian Trade Attache, Ms. Rafika Arfani, further strengthening the bridge between policy coordination and market engagement. The IPC Secretariat conveys its sincere appreciation to the Embassy in Bangkok for its continued openness and support.
Progress in commodity diplomacy is built through dialogue, consistency, and shared vision, one meeting at a time.
