Online International Pepper Conference 2020 on 5 January 2021
Despite the global condition of lockdown, travel restriction and strict healthy and safety measures, International Pepper Community had successfully organized the International Pepper Conference 2020 virtually amidst the continuous development of the global pandemic of Corona Virus. Held virtually on 5 January 2021, the Online Webinar of International Pepper Conference 2020 which was officiated by the Executive Director of IPC, Ms. Hoang Thi Lien took upon the theme of "Pepper in Challenging Times" with the following topics and renowned international speakers:

- Pepper Plantation: Maintaining Farms in a Regime of Low Revenue by Mr. Ravindranath Balakrishnan, Vice President of Olam International ltd, Viet Nam.
- Challenges and Opportunities for Black Pepper Amidst the Global Pandemic of Corona Virus by Mr. Giridhar Rao, Vice President Operations of Griffith Foods Inc, India.
- United States Regulatory Framework for Black Pepper by Ms. Laura Shumow, Executive Director of American Spices Trade Association (ASTA), USA.
- Consolidated Country Crop Presentation by Ms. Hoang Thi Lien, Executive Director of IPC.
- Interactive Panel Discussion Moderated by Mr. Jasvinder Singh Sethi, Director of Namagro, Viet Nam.

The free Online Webinar of International Pepper Conference 2020 was interactively attended by 500 registered participants. Alongside the aforementioned Online Webinar, Virtual Exhibition was also organized in which all pepper industry stakeholders able to utilize in virtually showcasing their products, service and company with no cost for a whole year. There were around 130 internationally renowned companies registered in the Virtual Exhibition. As the penultimate event of the Online International Pepper Conference 2020, the Executive Director of the IPC, Ms. Hoang Thi Lien, released the Consolidated Crop Report of the IPC for 2020.
