A Subtle Conversation, A Significant Future

On Friday, 5 December 2025, the IPC Secretariat became the backdrop of a quiet turning point, the kind of scene where nothing feels rushed, yet everything feels destined.
When H.E. Ambassador Djauhari Oratmangun arrived, the room shifted into a different rhythm. Under the steady leadership of Executive Director Marina Novira Anggraini, the dialogue unfolded with the elegance of a well-paced screenplay: measured words, shared vision, and an unspoken understanding that the pepper world may soon enter a new chapter.

At the heart of the exchange was a question that lingered like a compelling plot twist: What possibilities emerge when the People’s Republic of China moves closer to the International Pepper Community? The answer wasn’t declared; it revealed itself through reflections on stability, standards, and the promise of a more connected global value chain.

Then came the scene that grounded the narrative: an intimate demonstration by Madam Yosefin Rosalin Wijaya, from Cultivia, where pepper transformed before our eyes into essential oil, proof that innovation doesn’t always roar; sometimes it whispers, inviting farmers and SMEs into markets of higher value and greater resilience.
A meeting of quiet momentum, cinematic flow, and future implications, leaving behind a sense that something meaningful has begun to move.
