Transformation Through Collaboration
The 46th Annual Session and Meetings of the International Pepper Community, themed Transformation through Collaboration, was held during 1st - 4th October 2018 in Putrajaya, Malaysia. The Annual Session, kicked off with the 46th Executive Meetings of the Head of Delegations of IPC Member Countries on the 1st October 2018, was hosted by the Government of Malaysia, Ministry of Primary Industry Malaysia and jointly organized with the International Pepper Community. During this 4-days event which was ended with an excursion tour of the City Malacca, it was reported that 325 people registered for this year IPC Annual Session in Malaysia.

The Opening Ceremony of the 46th Annual Session and Meeting of IPC on 2nd October 2018 was honored and addressed by YB Mr. Shamsul Iskandar bin Mohd Akin the Deputy Minister of Primary Industry Malaysia. The opening of the 46th IPC Annual Sessions was marked by the launching of the 2018 International Pepper Conference logo. Within the opening ceremony IPC also honored 5 Farmers and 3 Exporters with the IPC Best Awards 2017. The awards were given to the winners by the Executive Director of IPC, Mrs. Hoang Thi Lien, together with YB Mr. Shamsul Iskandar bin Mohd Akin and Mr. Ravi Muthaya Chairman of IPC.

On the same occasion the Deputy Minister of Primary Industry Malaysia also opened the 2018 IPC Exhibition which in conjunction with the 46th IPC Annual Sessions. Industry's big names took part at the exhibition; Gobind Machinery Works, Malaysian Pepper Board, Pearl Corporation, Revtech Proccess System, Tema Process - Steam Sterilizers, Viet Pepper CO Ltd and Vietnam Hanfimex Corporation were just to name a few.

Furthermore, the 46th Annual Sessions and Meetings of IPC was sponsored by major players of the industry. Pearl Corporation, Al Jameel International, Eurofins, All India Spices Exporters Forum, European Spice Association, China Spice Association, McCormick and DK Commodity Co, Ltd and many other took part in contributing to the success of this 46th IPC Annual Sessions.
