MARKET REPORT - KEY HIGHLIGHTS


The pepper market in the first week of October showed a mix response.
Both local and international price for Indian pepper continued to be reported with an increasing trend since last week.
Both local and international prices for Indonesian pepper reported stable this week as most farmers in Indonesia in the process of fertilizing their
plants.
Only Malaysian international white pepper continued to be reported with a decreasing trend for the last three (3) weeks. Whilst, the others reported
stable.
The local price for Sri Lankan pepper continued to be reported with an increasing trend for the last two (2) weeks.
Only International price for Vietnamese white pepper remained stable since last week. Whilst, the others continued to be reported with a decreasing
trend.

Brazilian black pepper as well as Cambodian black pepper reported with a decreasing trend this week. Whilst, Chinese white pepper remained stable.
