MARKET REPORT - KEY HIGHLIGHTS
| 01 | World - Market this week showed mixed response with Indonesia and Viet Nam both local and international price were reported with an increase. |
| 02 | India - Following two weeks responding positively, Indian pepper price this week was reported with a decrease which could be contributed to the weakening of Indian Rupee against the US Dollar (INR 75.32 @ 1 USD), recording a 1% depreciation. |
| 03 | Indonesia - Both local and international price responded positively which could be contributed to the strengthening of Indonesian Rupiah against the US Dollar (IDR 14,177 @ 1 USD), recording a 1% appreciation. |
| 04 | Malaysia - Malaysian local price continued responding negatively this weeks. Whilst, international price was reported stable. |
| 05 | Sri Lanka - After being reported with a significant increase last week, Sri Lanka local price was reported with a slight decrease this week. |
| 06 | Viet Nam - Viet Nam black and white pepper price continued responding positively for the past six weeks. |
| 07 | Export of Pepper by Switzerland (2019 - 2021). |
