MARKET REPORT - KEY HIGHLIGHTS


The pepper market in early July showed a mix response.
Both local and international price for Indian pepper reported stable this week.
Both local and international price for Indonesian pepper reported stable this week as several farmers in Lampung province were preparing to harvest next month.
Only Malaysian local white pepper reported with a decreasing trend this week. Whilst, the others reported stable and unchanged.
The local price for Sri Lankan pepper continued to be reported with an increasing for the last two (2) weeks.
The local black pepper price as well as International price for Vietnamese pepper reported with an increasing trend this week.

Brazilian black pepper continued to be reported with a decreasing trend for the last three (3) weeks.
Furthermore, both Chinese white pepper and Cambodian black pepper continued to be reported stable and unchanged.
