MARKET REPORT - KEY HIGHLIGHTS

The pepper market this week continued to show a mix response with only India and China reported with a decrease.
Both local and international price for Indian pepper reported with a decreasing trend this week.
Both local and international prices for Indonesian pepper reported with an increasing trend this week
which partially contributed to the strengthening of Indonesian Rupiah against the US Dollar ( IDR 15,532 @ 1 USD) or 2% appreciation.
Only local price for Malaysian pepper reported with an increasing trend this week.
Whilst, international price for Malaysian pepper reported stable and unchanged.
The local price for Sri Lankan pepper reported stable since last week.
The local prices for Vietnamese pepper reported with an increasing trend this week.
Whilst, the international price for Vietnamese pepper reported stable and unchanged

Brazilian black pepper reported with an increasing trend this week.
Whilst, Cambodian black pepper continued to be reported stable and unchanged. Furthermore,
Chinese white pepper reported with a decreasing trend.
