MARKET REPORT - KEY HIGHLIGHTS


The pepper market in the last week of November showed a mix response with only India reported with a decrease.
Both local and international price for Indian pepper continued to be reported with a decreasing trend since last week.
Both local and international prices for Indonesian pepper reported with an increasing trend this week as some pepper plants started to flower.
After reported with a decreasing trend for the last two (2) weeks, the local price for Malaysian pepper reported with an increasing trend this week. Whilst, the international price for Malaysian pepper reported stable and unchanged.
The local price for Sri Lankan pepper reported stable this week.
Only Vietnamese local black pepper reported with an increasing trend this week. Whilst, the others reported stable.

Brazilian black pepper reported with an increasing trend this week. Whilst, the Cambodian black pepper as well as Chinese white pepper remained stable and unchanged.
