MARKET REPORT - KEY HIGHLIGHTS


The global pepper market reflected a negative outlook this week, with no major producing countries recording an upward trend.
Both domestic and international prices of Indian pepper declined for the third consecutive week, partly due to the 1% depreciation of the Indian Rupee against the US Dollar (INR 88.50/USD).
Local and international prices of Indonesian pepper weakened, also influenced by a 1% depreciation of the Rupiah (IDR 16,690/USD).
Domestic prices of Malaysian black pepper moved downward, while international prices remained broadly stable.
Domestic pepper prices remained steady this week.
Both domestic and international pepper prices were stable, with no significant fluctuations.

Brazilian pepper prices declined, while Cambodian black pepper and Chinese white pepper remained stable.
Between 2023 and July 2025, the Czech Republic imported 1,511 MT of pepper. Germany was the largest supplier with 663 MT, followed by Poland, the Netherlands, Viet Nam, and Slovakia.
