MARKET REPORT - KEY HIGHLIGHTS


The global pepper market exhibited a positive outlook this week, with no major producing countries exhibiting a downward trend.
Domestic and international prices of Indian pepper remained stable throughout the week.
Following two consecutive weeks of decline, both local and international prices of Indonesian pepper stabilized during the reporting period.
In Malaysia, local and international pepper prices recorded an upward adjustment over the past week.
Local pepper prices in Sri Lanka remained steady this week.
Vietnamese local pepper price experienced an upward adjustment, while international prices remained stable.

Prices of Brazilian and Cambodian black pepper recorded an upward trend this week. Meanwhile, Chinese white pepper prices remained stable with no significant changes.
Between 2023 and May 2025, Germany exported a total of 5,840 metric tons of pepper. Poland was the top importer (1,716 metric tons), followed by Austria, France, the Czech Republic, and Romania.
