In India, Pepper prices ruled steady by marginal 1% increase both in local and FOB prices, despite buying interest from all quarters. Supplies continued to be higher from India, but at present higher rates following strong demand. Besides, industry buyers and exporters are also covering higher buys. Spot prices remained unchanged between 55,500 and 58,500 per MT. Export prices are at $9,800 a ton C & F for Europe and $10,100 a ton C & F for the US.

Black Pepper price Levels in Vietnam eased slightly throughout the week without any price volatility, as supply increased in the local markets .However, the major stocks are still to arrive in the Market. In Malaysia price is seen almost firm whereas in Lampung price has moved down by 4.6%. White Pepper prices from Indonesia, Vietnam and Malaysia are firm and stable, as almost negligible price deviation noticed.
