MARKET REPORT - KEY HIGHLIGHTS


The pepper market this week continued to show a mix response.
After reported with an increasing trend for the last two (2) weeks, both local and international price for Indian pepper reported stable this week.
Only Indonesian black pepper continued to be reported with an increasing trend since last week.
Whilst, Indonesian white pepper reported with a decreasing trend as most farmers in Indonesia currently in harvest season.
Only local price for Malaysian pepper reported with a decreasing trend this week.
Whilst, international price for Malaysian pepper reported stable and unchanged.
After reported with an increasing trend for the last two (2) weeks, the local price for Sri Lankan pepper reported stable this week.
The local prices for Vietnamese pepper reported stable this week. Whilst, the international price for Vietnamese pepper reported with a decreasing trend this week.

Brazilian black pepper continued to be reported with a decreasing trend for the last three (3) weeks.
Whilst, Cambodian black pepper and Chinese white pepper continued to be reported stable and unchanged.
