MARKET REPORT - KEY HIGHLIGHTS

The market in the last week of 2022 showed a rather positive outlook with no origins reported with a decrease.

Indian pepper price pepper reported with an increasing trend this week.

Both local and international prices for Indonesia responded stable this week as some export delayed due to bad weather.

Malaysian local price responded positive this week. Whilst,
Malaysia international price continued to be reported stable and unchanged.

After reported with an increasing trend for the last two (2) weeks, local price for Sri Lankan pepper reported stable this week.

Viet Nam local price reported stable this week whilst Viet Nam international price reported with an increasing trend.
Furthermore, Chairman of the People\'s Committee of Krong Nang Regency (Dak Lak Province)
commented that pepper area in 2022 decreased when compared to 2020 due to low selling prices and plant diseases,
forcing farmers to switch to planting coffee and other fruit crops with higher value.
