MARKET REPORT - KEY HIGHLIGHTS

The pepper market this week continued to show mixed response with only Chinese white pepper reported with a decreasing trend.
Even though the Indian Rupee strengthened against the US Dollar (INR 86.48 @ 1 USD) or 1% appreciation, both local and international price for Indian pepper reported stable this week.
Both local and international price for Indonesian pepper reported stable this week as less transaction reported in the market.
Both local and international price for Malaysian pepper also reported stable this week.
The local price for Sri Lankan pepper continued to be reported with an increasing trend for the last four (4) weeks.
Only Vietnamese local white pepper reported stable this week. Whilst, the others reported with an increasing trend.

Brazilian black pepper reported with an increasing trend since last week. Whilst, Cambodian black pepper prices continued to be reported stable and unchanged. Furthermore, Chinese white pepper reported with a decreasing trend.
