MARKET REPORT - KEY HIGHLIGHTS

Market this week shows a mixed response with only Sri Lanka local pepper price reported with an increase.
Even though Indian Rupee weakened against the US Dollar (INR 78.84 @ 1 USD),
recorded 1% depreciation, Indian pepper price reported stable this week..
After two (2) weeks with a decreasing trend, pepper price for Indonesia reported
stable this week as some areas in Lampung started to harvest.
Both local and international price for Malaysia continued to be reported stable since mid-May 2022.
Following two (2) weeks without an increasing trend, local price for Sri Lanka pepper
responded positive this week.
Only Viet Nam local black pepper price was reported with a decreasing trend this week.
Whilst, the rest were reported stable.
Import of Pepper by Poland (2020 - 2022).
