MARKET REPORT - KEY HIGHLIGHTS

The pepper market this week showed a mix response.
Both local and international price for Indian pepper reported with an increasing trend since last week.
As the Indonesian Rupiah strengthened against the US Dollar (IDR 15,269 @ 1 USD) or 1% appreciation,
both local and international prices for Indonesian pepper reported with an increasing trend this week.
Only international price for Malaysian white pepper reported stable this week. Whilst, the others reported with increasing trend.
The local price for Sri Lankan pepper continued to be reported with an increasing trend for the last three (3) weeks.
Local price for Vietnamese black pepper as well as international price for Vietnamese white pepper reported with an increasing trend this week.
Whilst, international price for Vietnamese black pepper reported stable and unchanged.
Furthermore, local price for Vietnamese white pepper reported with a decreasing trend.

Brazilian black pepper reported with a decreasing trend this week.
Whilst, Cambodian black pepper as well as Chinese white pepper remained stable and unchanged.
After reported fluctuated in the last two (2) weeks, pepper price in US market reported stable this week.
