MARKET REPORT - KEY HIGHLIGHTS


The pepper market in the third week of 2025 showed a mix response..
Both local and international price for Indian pepper reported stable since last week.
Even though the Indonesian Rupiah weakened against the US Dollar (IDR 16,322 @ 1 USD) or 1% depreciation. Both local and international price for Indonesian pepper reported with an increasing trend as limited stock continuously reported.
Both local and international price for Malaysian pepper reported with an increasing trend. Furthermore. It was observed that in 2025 there would be some new plantation having their first ever harvest.
The local price for Sri Lankan pepper reported with an increasing trend this week.
After reported with an increasing trend for the last two (2) weeks, the local price for Vietnamese pepper reported with a decreasing trend this week. Whilst, the international price for Vietnamese pepper remained stable.

Brazilian black pepper, Chinese white pepper as well as Cambodian black pepper continued to be reported stable this week.
