MARKET REPORT - KEY HIGHLIGHTS


The pepper market this week continued to show a mix response.
Both local and international price for Indian pepper reported with a decreasing trend since last week.
Both local and international price for Indonesian pepper reported stable this week as most of the pepper plants
in Indonesia reportedly to start harvesting next month.
Only Malaysian local pepper price reported with an increasing trend this week.
Whilst, the international price continued to be reported stable and unchanged.
The local price for Sri Lankan pepper reported with a decreasing trend this week.
Only local Vietnamese pepper price reported with an increasing trend this week.
Whilst, the international price reported stable and unchanged.

Brazilian and Cambodian black pepper reported stable this week. Whilst,
Chinese white pepper reported with an increasing trend. Furthermore, prices rose sharply one month in Hainan,
China due to expected low production and speculators from China inland.
