MARKET REPORT - KEY HIGHLIGHTS

Market this week shows a mixed response with only Viet Nam local black pepper price reported with an increase.

Indian pepper price was reported with a decreasing trend this week.

As Indonesian Rupiah weakened against the US Dollar (IDR 14,743 @ 1 USD),
recorded 2% depreciation, pepper price for Indonesia responded negatively this week as pepper hard to get on farmer level.

Both local and international price for Malaysia continued to be reported stable and unchanged.

Local price for Sri Lanka pepper responded negatively this week.

Only Viet Nam local black pepper price remained positive this week.
Whilst, the Viet Nam international pepper price continued to be reported with a decreasing trend.

US, Europe as well as China markets were reported with limited
activity with pepper origins continued to be reported with a decrease.
Furthermore, Muntok white pepper was reported at USD 6,800 CF June/July.
