MARKET REPORT - KEY HIGHLIGHTS

Market this week shows a mixed response with only Viet Nam international pepper price
reported with an increase.
Indian pepper price continued to be reported with a decreasing trend this week.
As Indonesian Rupiah weakened against the US Dollar (IDR 14,836 @ 1 USD),
recorded 1% depreciation, pepper price for Indonesia remained negative this week as exporters
and collectors remained hard to get pepper on farmer level.
Both local and international price for Malaysia remained stable and unchanged this week.
Local price for Sri Lanka pepper responded stable this week.
Only Viet Nam international pepper price reported positive this week.
Whilst, the Viet Nam local pepper price reported with a decreasing trend.
Export of Pepper by the Australia (2020 - 2022).
