MARKET REPORT - KEY HIGHLIGHTS

The pepper market this week continued to show mix response.
After reported with a decreasing trend for the last three (3) weeks, both local and international price for Indian pepper reported stable this week.
Both local and international price for Indonesian pepper reported with an increasing trend this week which partially contributed to the strengthening Indonesian Rupiah against the US Dollar (IDR 16,375 @ 1 USD) or 1% appreciation.
Local price for Malaysian pepper reported with an increasing trend this week. Whilst, international price for Malaysian pepper reported stable.
The local price for Sri Lankan pepper continued to be reported stable for the last three (3) weeks.
Local price for Vietnamese pepper reported with a decreasing trend this week. Whilst, international price for Vietnamese pepper continued to be reported stable and unchanged.

Brazilian black pepper reported with a decreasing trend this week. Furthermore, Cambodian black pepper as well as Chinese white pepper reported stable and unchanged.
