MARKET REPORT - KEY HIGHLIGHTS


The pepper market this week continued to show mixed responses with only Sri Lankan local black pepper reported with an increase.
After reported with an increasing trend for the last two (2) weeks, both local and international price for Indian pepper reported with a decreasing trend.
Indonesian white pepper continued to be reported stable since last week. Whilst, Indonesian black pepper reported with a decreasing trend this week.
Both local and international price for Malaysian pepper reported with a decreasing trend this week.
The local price for Sri Lankan pepper continued to be reported with an increasing trend for the last three (3) weeks.
Only local price for Vietnamese black pepper reported stable this week. Whilst, the others continued to be reported with a decreasing trend.

Brazilian black pepper as well as Cambodian black pepper continued to be reported with a decreasing trend since last week. Whilst, Chinese white pepper remained stable.
