MARKET REPORT - KEY HIGHLIGHTS

Market this week shows a rather positive outlook with no origins reported with a decrease.

Following three (3) weeks without an increasing trend,
Indian pepper price responded positive this week.

Black pepper price for Indonesia continued to be reported with an increasing trend this week.
Whilst, Indonesia white pepper reported stable as harvest continued in most region.

Both local and international prices for Malaysia remained stable and unchanged. Furthermore, Malaysian Pepper Board recently reported
the challenges to Malaysian pepper were the lack of interest among the younger generation,
higher cost of inputs for farming and intense competition among other crops such as palm oil and rubber.
