MARKET REPORT - KEY HIGHLIGHTS

Market this week showed a mixed response with only Malaysian local white pepper reported with an increase.

Indian pepper price continued to be reported stable this week.

Pepper price for Indonesia reported stable this week as export was quite less due to less stock.

Only Malaysian local white pepper responded positive this week. Whilst,
the rests remained stable and unchanged as Malaysians celebrate the Malaysia Day today.

Local price for Sri Lankan pepper remained stable this week.

Only Viet Nam international white pepper reported stable.
Whilst, the rests remained negative which could be contributed to the weakening of the Viet Nam Dong
against the US Dollar (VND 23,700 @ 1 USD), recording a 1% depreciation. Furthermore,
some area in Viet Nam was reported blossoming due to the conducive weather.
