MARKET REPORT - KEY HIGHLIGHTS


Market this week showed a rather negative outlook for the pepper price with no origins were reported with an increase.
Even though Indian Rupee strengthened against the US Dollar (INR 76.26 @ 1 USD), recording a 1% appreciation, Indian pepper price reported stable and unchanged this week.
After reported stable for the last four weeks, both local and international prices for Indonesia responded negatively this week as continued less stock and less transactions in the market.
Both local and international price for Malaysia continued to be reported stable for the last three weeks.

As Sri Lankan Rupee continued to be weakened against the US Dollar (LKR 263.78 @ 1 USD), recorded 15% depreciation, local price for Sri Lanka responded negatively since last week.
Both local and international price for Viet Nam reported stable this week as Viet Nam harvest in full swing.
